How much air pressure will my Sun Mistral rims withstand?
I recently acquired an old Schwinn racing bike that has Sun Mistral rims, and I need to know how much air pressure they can withstand. Thanks in advance!
I know that the tires say how much pressure to put in them, thats common sense. I also know that not all rims can accomadate certain high pressures. My tire can be filled up to 120 psi. I need to know if the rim will hold the tire with that much pressure.
I've got an old set of mistrals that I use for training on my tri-bike (carbon aero wheels with tubies for racing...). I've used 150psi Conti's on them without a problem.
