Hubs Set
Anyone ever put a set of Warn hubs on a newer Jeep Cherokee out there?
I am considering putting a set of Warn lock out front hubs on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee. They sell a kit, but I don't won't to put in new axles. Seems like with a little ingenuity I could put just the Warn hubs on and not the Warn axles. Seem like a waste of money to buy the high strength Warn axles for almost 100 percent of my driving is on the streets I don't get near the rocks and mud.
A 2001 Cherokee has a Command Trac 4wd system. It has automatic locking hubs - no need for Warn's. If you don't do much off-roading there is no need to change to the manual hubs. The Command Trac is a great system, I wouldn't change it even if you did a lot of off-road driving, just upgrade it.
